While lobbyists and staffers are waiting and wondering when the Legislature is going to return to the Capitol, no one is paying much attention to all the logistics involved in opening up California’s public house. Faultline has learned that the few lobbyists allowed in the building have been frisked, had their temperatures taken, are escorted by sergeants and told where to sit. They also are being told to stay out of stairwells. The apparent reason? The powers that be want to limit the areas requiring disinfecting. 

Given all this, how is Sacramento going to return to normal?
