More cities and counties in California are switching to renewable diesel and biodiesel fuels for their bus fleets.
Although electric vehicles are important for reaching the state’s climate goals, relying on electric busses will hinder progress towards cleaner air because the technology simply isn’t here yet. This highlights the need for California to invest in a diverse range of energy choices that include biofuels and propane, along with electric options.
